Alex joined Morton’s Solicitors as a paralegal in April 2023. His potential was soon realised and he started a training contract soon afterwards, becoming a fully qualified solicitor on 1st February 2026.

He is involved in a wide range of work ranging from pre-charge advice and pre-charge representation to complex Crown Court cases.

Alex has developed expertise in defending sexual offences. Not only does he deal with these topics in a highly sensitive manner, but clients also find his robust advice easy to understand. Alex also undertakes work post-conviction in the discharging of Sexual Harm Prevention Order’s.

Alex is highly knowledgeable about complex electronic forensic evidence due to his expertise in the field. He regularly challenges forensic reports (complied from devices such as mobile phones) in relation to allegations concerning Indecent Images of Children cases.

Alex has also built a keen interest in defending clients with learning disabilities and mental health issues due his extensive knowledge in the area.
