Isabel San Jose joined Mortons as a paralegal in 2022, at the conclusion of her degree at the University of Manchester, where she studied BA (Hons) Criminology (with law modules).

Her current role involves case preparation and client liaison for all cases from the police station stage all the way through to the crown court.

Isabel is an excellent communicator and can put clients at ease with empathy.

Isabel has a passion for justice and is training to become a criminal defence solicitor in the near future. She leaves no stone unturned and has a keen interest in achieving the best outcomes for her clients.

It was during Isabel’s time during her undergraduate studies, that her enthusiasm for working in Criminal Law developed. For her dissertation, she corresponded with inmates on death row in America. This is specific aspect on capital punishment that has never been researched before.

Isabel was highly commended for this piece of work, with it set to hit Google Scholar in May 2023.

Isabel is part way through her studies towards the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) to qualification as a solicitor.

Isabel is currently working towards completion of her Police Station Accreditation and has passed the written exam with flying colours.
