NEW SENTENCING GUIDELINES FROM TODAY
From Today, Monday 24th April 2017 the Sentencing Guidelines Council has published the revised Magistrates’ Court Sentencing Guidelines which are now in effect.

Macclesfield Magistrates Court will close before the end of September. The Courthouse served East Cheshire including Macclesfield, Congleton areas.
Oldham Magistrates’ Court To Close
The 23rd September 2016 is the day set for closure of Oldham Magistrates Court. All cases are being transferred to Tameside Magistrates Court (Ashton-Under-Lyne). Trafford Magistrates’ Court Closed
Trafford Magistrates’ Court has now closed with cases for that courthouse now moved to Manchester Magistrates Court. Further court closures are in progress.
Buxton Magistrates’ Court Closed
Unfortunately Buxton Magistrates Court closed on 29th June 2016. The Courthouse served North-West Derbyshire including High Peak areas.
